Media + Speaking
NOTE: You might have been sent to this page to view my reel. Alas, Fox News asked me to take down the reel due to internal rules about posting their content. But instead, here is a recent clip of me from the Fox News Strategy Room:
Sally Kohn is a community organizer and political satirist focused on the impact of mass movements in American culture and politics. Sally is known for being provocative at the same time as inspirational, challenging status quo ideas by articulating bold alternatives in a way that is accessible and appealing.
In addition to regular essays for the Huffington Post, AlterNet and Common Dreams, Sally’s writing has appeared in publications as diverse as Christian Science Monitor, the American Prospect, the Orange County Register and the Tucson Citizen. (She also had a piece picked up a few years ago by the Mennonite Weekly News!)
Sally has delivered speeches at gatherings for the Democracy Alliance, Barnard University, the Environmental Grantmakers Association, Creative Change, the Women Donors Network, Young People For and the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. Sally leaves audiences energized and inspired.
And Sally has appeared on radio and television programs including Fox News, National Public Radio and GritTV. She is a graduate of the Women’s Media Center Progressive Women’s Voices training.
